Do FirePRO™ accessories only work with FLIR machine vision products?

Although it is not possible to guarantee functionality of FirePRO™ Professional FireWire components with all 1394 products, we make every attempt to ensure that our FirePRO™ line is standards compliant. No modifications are made to specifically limit interoperability to our products alone. FirePRO™ products are designed to help customers easily achieve a reliable configuration in often demanding applications, and are distinguished by their high quality and rigourous testing with the entire FLIR machine vision product line.
