Can I disable the shutter in FLIR A320/A325 for a prolonged time period?

It is important that you do not disable the automatic shutter in the camera for a prolonged time period (typically max. 30 minutes). Disabling the shutter for a longer time period may harm, or irreparably damage, the detector.
